Aggiornamento della piattaforma iCorsi2

iCorsi2, la piattaforma eLearning di USI e SUPSI, è stata aggiornata alla versione 2.7 di Moodle. Le principali novità della nuova versione sono:

• design responsivo (iCorsi2 si adatta graficamente in modo automatico a ogni tipo di dispositivo, che sia un computer, laptop, tablet o smartphone);
• grafica più pulita (accorpamento delle impostazioni per ogni singola risorsa/attività in un unico menu; nuovo text-editor);
• attività condizionali avanzate (possibilità di rendere una risorsa/attività accessibile solo a un utente o a un gruppo di utenti, oppure a partire da una certa data). Vedi queste FAQs;
• annotazione dei compiti in formato PDF (i docenti possono commentare i file in formato PDF direttamente dalla piattaforma). Vedi la relativa FAQ.

Bando per una borsa di dottorato in eLearning nel turismo e ospitalità

L’Istituto di Tecnologie per la comunicazione (USI, Facoltà di scienze della comunicazione) ha pubblicato un bando per una borsa di dottorato sul tema “eLearning nel turismo e nell’ospitalità”.
Il tema del progetto di dottorato, che verrà sviluppato insieme al candidato vincente, si situa nell’ambito dell’eLearning nel turismo e nell’ospitalità, con un focus particolare sull’area dei MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses).

Scadenza: il bando rimarrà aperto fino a quando verrà trovato il candidato ideale. Verrà data priorità alle candidature ricevute prima del 30 settembre 2014.

Rilascio dell’app iCorsi2

La nuova applicazione su iCorsi2 è ora disponibile per dispositivi mobili Android e iOS. L’applicazione permette agli studenti di USI e SUPSI di accedere facilmente alla piattaforma iCorsi2 tramite smartphone e tablet. 

L’app può essere scaricata gratuitamente dal Google Play Store o dal iTunes Store.

iCorsi2 platform has been upgraded

iCorsi2, the eLearning platform of USI and SUPSI, has been upgraded to the new Moodle 2.7 release. Here are the main new features:

• responsive design (iCorsi2 can be displayed optimally from any kind of device, such as computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones);
• cleaner graphics (merging of all available settings for a resource/activity in a single menu; new text-editor);
• advanced conditional activities (each resource/activity can be made available only for a single user, a group of users, or starting from a given date). See these FAQs;

Call for a PhD scholarship in eLearning in tourism and hospitality

The Institute for Communication Technologies (USI, Faculty of Communication Sciences) has published a call for a PhD Scholarship in “eLearning in tourism & hospitality”.

The topic of the PhD project is to be developed together with the winner candidate in the broader field of eLearning in hospitality and tourism, especially within the area of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses).

Deadline: the call is open until the place is filled, applications arrived before September 30th, 2014 will be given priority.

iCorsi2 App Release

The new iCorsi2 app is now available for both Androis and iOS mobiles devices. The mobile app allows students to easily access the iCorsi2 platform thorugh smartphones and tablets.
The app can be downloaded for free from the Google Play Store and from the iTunes Store.
