Theme of the month: Business changes in a VUCA environment

EMScom intelligence

Corporate communication professionals increasingly work in business environments characterized as volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous (so-called VUCA environments). We face the changing definitions and boundaries of stakeholder groups, uncertainty and complexity in negotiations, dynamic development of information systems, and challenges in the governance of organizations operating in such environments. This month, we asked the five faculty members teaching in our UCLA session to address this topic from the perspective of their area of expertise.
