Indagine su uso, soddisfazione e impatto di iCorsi2

L'eLab effettua regolarmente un'indagine sulla piattaforma iCorsi2 e sulla soddisfazione dei docenti e degli assistenti che la usano.

Tutti i docenti e gli assistenti sono invitati a partecipare all'indagine, compilando il questionario che si trova a questo URL: http://survey.elearninglab.org/index.php/616943/lang-it-informal. Il questionario è anonimo, la sua compilazione richiede circa 5 minuti.

Nuovi video sul canale iTunesU dell'USI

L'intero ciclo delle Lecturae Dantis, promosse dall'Istituto di studi italiani (ISI), è disponibile sul canale iTunesU dell'USI. Le letture sono suddivise in tre collezioni (Paradiso, Inferno e Purgatorio), contenenti 14 video l'una.

Inoltre, il video della lezione di commiato del prof. Mauro Baranzini, dal titolo "Economia e società civile: tra passato sostenibile e un futuro incerto", è stato aggiunto alla collezione "Scienze economiche".

Seminari eLab

Nelle prossime settimane, l’eLab propone alcuni seminari sull’uso della piattaforma iCorsi2 e di altri strumenti per la didattica.

I seminari proposti sono i seguenti:

• iCorsi2 BASE (1h30 circa): introduzione alla piattaforma e alle sue principali funzionalità (indicato per chi non ha mai usato iCorsi2).
• iCorsi2 COMPITI (45’ circa): come creare un compito da consegnare tramite iCorsi2, come inviare feedback (commenti, annotazioni, valutazioni) agli studenti.
• TURNITIN (45’ circa): come usare il software antiplagio Turnitin attraverso iCorsi2.
• iCorsi2 QUIZ (45’ circa): come creare un quiz su iCorsi2 (tramite il software HotPotatoes), come creare e gestire le domande e i feedback.
• iCorsi2 VALUTAZIONI (45’ circa): come gestire le valutazioni degli studenti, come creare una scala per i voti, come esportare la tabella con tutte le valutazioni.
• iCorsi2 ATTIVITÀ CONDIZIONALI (45’ circa): come rendere una risorsa/attività accessibile solo a determinate condizioni, come strutturare il proprio corso utilizzando le attività condizionali.
• iCorsi2 WIKI (45’ circa): come creare una wiki su iCorsi2 per permettere ai partecipanti di creare e modificare testi in modo collaborativo.
• iCorsi2 WORKSHOP (45’ circa): come creare un'attività di peer assessment su iCorsi2.
• iCorsi2 FORUM/GRUPPI (45’ circa): sulla comunicazione asincrona con e tra gli studenti, come creare e gestire gruppi all'interno di un corso.
• iCorsi2 LIBRO (45’ circa): come creare su iCorsi2 una risorsa con più pagine che possono contenere testo, immagini, video, ecc.
• MINDMEISTER (45’ circa): software che permette di creare mappe concettuali online e di modificarle collaborativamente.
• SWITCHinteract (45’ circa): servizio offerto da SWITCH e basato sul software Adobe Connect, che permette di organizzare conferenze via web.

Surveys on use, satisfaction and impact of iCorsi2

eLab regularly performs a survey on the use of the iCorsi2 platform and on the satisfaction of teachers and students about it. 

All teachers and teaching assistants are kindly invited to take part in the survey by filling in the questionnaire that can be found at this URL: http://survey.elearninglab.org/index.php/616943/lang-en. The questionnaire is anonymous, it will take about 5 minutes to complete it.

New videos on USI iTunesU channel

The entire series of Lecturae Dantis promoted by the Istituto di studi italiani (ISI) is now available on the USI iTunesU channel. The series includes three collections (Paradiso, Inferno and Purgatorio) of 14 videos each.

Moreover, the farewell lecture of Prof. Mauro Baranzini, "Economy and Civil Society: from a sustainable past to an uncertain future" (in Italian), has been added to the collection "Scienze economiche".

eLab workshops

In the next weeks eLab offers some workshops on the use of the iCorsi2 platform and of other useful tools.

The following workshops are proposed:

• iCorsi2 BASIC (about 1h30): for teachers and teaching assistants who have never used iCorsi2 and need to start using it.
• iCorsi2 ASSIGNMENTS (about 45’): how to create an assignment on iCorsi2, how to send students comments, annotations and grades.
• TURNITIN (about 45’): how to use the anti-plagiarism software Turnitin from iCorsi2.
• iCorsi2 QUIZ (about 45’): how to create a quiz on iCorsi2 (using the software HotPotatoes), how to create and manage questions and feedbacks.
• iCorsi2 EVALUATIONS (about 45’): how to manage evaluations through iCorsi2, how to create a new grading scale, how to export the evaluations table.
• iCorsi2 CONDITIONAL ACTIVITIES (about 45’): how to make a resource/activity accessible only under certain conditions, how to structure the course using the conditional activities.
• iCorsi2 WIKI (about 45’): how to create a wiki in iCorsi2, to allow participants to edit texts in a collaborative way.
• iCorsi2 WORKSHOP (about 45’): how to create peer assessment activities on iCorsi2.
• iCorsi2 FORUM & GROUPS (about 45’): how to allow asynchronous communication with and among (groups of) students.
• iCorsi2 BOOK (about 45’): how to create a multi-page resource on iCorsi2, where texts, images and videos can be included.
• MINDMEISTER (about 45’): software that allows to create online conceptual maps and edit them collaboratively.
• SWITCHinteract (about 45’): service offered by SWITCH, based on the software Adobe Connect, which allows to run web conferences and online meetings.
