Horizon 2020: main open calls for proposals

ERC PROOF OF CONCEPT GRANT

The ERC Proof of Concept Grants (ERC PoC) aim to maximise the value of the excellent research that the ERC funds, by supporting further work to verify the innovation potential of ideas arising from ERC funded projects.

Therefore this funding scheme is open only to researchers who have already been awarded an ERC grant.

EUROPEAN COMMISSION CALLS FOR SCIENTIFIC EXPERTS TO JOIN THE SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEES

The European Commission invites scientists to join its Scientific Committees. These committees provide the Commission with high quality and independent risk assessment and scientific advice in the areas of public health, consumer safety and environmental risks.

Successful applicants should be well-established scientists with more than 10 years of experience and multi-disciplinary accomplishments. They are appointed to the Committees for five years.

FLASH RESEARCH PROJECTS WITH BRAZIL

The FLASH Research Programme is a new funding instrument that allows researchers to react quickly in case of exceptional events by setting up joint research projects in any discipline between partners from Brazil and Switzerland.
