HORIZON 2020: IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THE CALL FOR ERC ADVANCED GRANTS

ERC Advanced Grants are designed to support excellent Principal Investigators at the career stage at which they are already established research leaders with a recognised track record of research achievements. Due to the current political context involving the EU,  the SNSF has decided to extend its transitional measures, thus enabling researchers at Swiss research institutions to submit applications for Advanced Grants to the SNSF.

With reference to that, please note that, due to the ongoing negotiations with the EC, the SNSF is not publishing its Advanced Grant Call in August as foreseen, but will decide on the publication by mid-September.

The deadline for ERC Advanced Grants is October 21, whereas the deadline for the SNSF Advanced Grants temporary backup scheme will probably be in November. Since the outcomes of negotiations are still unclear, Euresearch advises researchers to still prepare to submit by 21 October.

For more information, contact Mrs. Nancy-Lara Millàn.

Submission deadline: 21st Ocotber 2014
