HORIZON 2020: IMPORTANT INFORMATION ON THE CALL FOR ERC ADVANCED GRANTS |
ERC Advanced Grants are designed to support excellent Principal Investigators at the career stage at which they are already established research leaders with a recognised track record of research achievements.
In consideration of the current political context involving the EU, the SNSF had decided to extend its transitional measures, thus enabling researchers at Swiss research institutions to submit applications for Advanced Grants to the SNSF.
With reference to that, please note that, due to the ongoing negotiations with the EC, Switzerland has been partially re-associated to Horizon 2020. As a consequence, researchers from Switzerland can participate fully in the ERC Advanced Grants call with deadline 21 October 2014 and, if successful, will receive funding from the EU. The SNSF will therefore not issue a call for SNSF Advanced Grants.
For more information, contact Mrs. Nancy-Lara Millàn.
Submission deadline: 21st October 2014
