SNSF CAREER FUNDING SCHEMES: UPCOMING DEADLINES

CTI R&D PROJECTS SPECIAL MEASURES 2016

In R&D projects the conditions for export-oriented SMEs (implementation partner) may be relaxed on request. The measures are as follow:

  • The Cash contribution made by the implementation partner to the research partner may be partially or wholly waived;
  • The proportion of the total project costs met by the implementation partner may be reduced to 30%.

INNOVATIVE MEDICINES INITIATIVE 2 (IMI 2) CALL 9

The Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) is Europe’s largest public-private partnership in the life sciences. The IMI 2 Call 9 has now been launched with the following topics:

  • Addressing the clinical burden of Clostridium difficile infection (CDI): evaluation of the burden, current practices and set up of a European research platform
  • Development of immune tolerance therapies for the treatment of rheumatic diseases
  • Data quality in preclinical research and development
  • Next generation of electronic translational safety – NEXGETS
  • Identification and validation of biomarkers for non-alcoholic steatohepatitis (NASH) and across the spectrum of non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD)
  • Joint influenza vaccine effectiveness surveillance
