ADVANCED POSTDOC.MOBILITY

Advanced Postdoc.Mobility fellowships of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) are awarded to advanced postdocs who wish to conduct or extend a research stay abroad. The fellowships are granted for 12 to max 36 months. A return phase of 3 to 12 months at a research institution in Switzerland is possible.

AMBIZIONE, AMBIZIONE-PROSPER, AMBIZIONE-SCORE

This funding scheme is geared for young researchers who would like to conduct, manage and lead an independently planned project at a Swiss university.

The grant is awarded for a maximum of three years. It comprises the salary and project funds.

Eligible applicants are researchers holding a doctorate with a research activity for at least 12 months at a different higher education institution than the one where the doctoral thesis was written. The submission is possible up to five years after obtaining the doctorate.

Horizon 2020: main open calls

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES (ICT)

The Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) section in the Industrial Leadership pillar of Horizon 2020 provides funding mainly for collaborative projects on pre-defined research topics.

The following topics have the submission deadline on January 19, 2016:

  • ICT-37-2016: CHINA – Collaboration on Future Internet
  • ICT-38-2016: MEXICO – Collaboration on ICT
  • ICT-39-2016-2017: International partnership building in low and middle income countries.

The next 2016 deadline for other topics under this call is set on April 12, 2016.

ERA-NET CHIST-ERA

Switzerland, Belgium and Luxembourg, member states of the EUREKA initiative and support innovation projects through the different EUREKA instruments (EUREKA and Eurostars projects), are jointly announcing a Call for outlines for joint innovation projects under EUREKA and Eurostars.
