Advanced Postdoc.Mobility fellowships of the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) are awarded to advanced postdocs who wish to conduct or extend a research stay abroad. The fellowships are granted for 12 to max 36 months. A return phase of 3 to 12 months at a research institution in Switzerland is possible.

This funding scheme is geared for young researchers who would like to conduct, manage and lead an independently planned project at a Swiss university.
The grant is awarded for a maximum of three years. It comprises the salary and project funds.
Eligible applicants are researchers holding a doctorate with a research activity for at least 12 months at a different higher education institution than the one where the doctoral thesis was written. The submission is possible up to five years after obtaining the doctorate.
