EVENT HIGHLIGHT: EMScom Alumni Jour Fixe: presentation of the consulting project winner of the Burson-Marsteller Award 2016 and Apéro - Thursday, November 30

The next EMScom Alumni Jour Fixe in Zürich will showcase the Burson-Marsteller Award winner of the 2016 EMScom consulting project for Consulting Excellence. Following the presentation, there will be an apéro for further conversations and a chance to network.

Aimée Dubrule, EMScom17 alumna and project team leader, will present the recommendations made to CPW on how to develop a global public-private partnership strategy for the business. The project mandate in the original CPW project brief was to identify a relevant issue area; outline a business case for the partnership; propose partnership criteria for selecting ‘the right partner’; and provide a list of global non-governmental organisations operating in this space with which CPW could potentially partner to make breakfast better for its consumers.

Join us on Thursday, November 30 at 18:30 at the Marriott Hotel (Neumühlquai 42, 8006 Zürich). The event is free for paying members of the Association and has a fee of CHF 50 for non-paying members and external guests.  You are welcome to extend this invitation to your colleagues and friends.

Wrap-up: 2017 Alumni Study Trip in Aarhus

In June, 20 alumni and guests gathered for a two-day Study Trip in Aarhus, Denmark. An insightful opening session gave participants useful information on what it means for Aarhus to be recognized as the European Union's 2017 Capital of Culture and how the event was built and communicated, bringing participants into the co-creation and innovation spirit. Participants were exposed to Scandinavian best practices, thanks to company visits to LEGO and Jyske Bank. The closing session at Aarhus University perfectly concluded the trip with a more theoretical framework. It was an ideal forum for participants to interact and network in an informal setting, and to discover a bit more about the city.

We were proud to see the inaugural Alumni Study Trip come to life and we look forward to building on the tradition next year. We hope to see more of you on our 2018 Study Trip!
