ERASMUS+ AND SWITZERLAND, THE POSITION OF USI

The European Commission confirmed on February 26, 2014 that Switzerland will not be able to participate as a program country in Erasmus+ for the academic year 2014-2015, but only as a third country (partner country). USI officially decided to finance the mobility of both incoming and outgoing students, should it lack a contribution from the Swiss Confederation.

NEW BILATERAL AGREEMENTS

In the last few months, we have signed a number of new bilateral agreements with Austria, Czech Republic, England, Finland, France and Germany. We hope for fruitful and enriching collaborations and we look forward to welcoming new students in Lugano. DISCOVER TICINO: GANDRIA AND THE SENTIERO DELL'OLIVO

Gandria seen from the lake Heading to the warm season, with more daylight, we have decided to suggest a visit to a village near Lugano with a unique charme and a wonderful view on the lake. The path is called "Sentiero dell'Olivo" (Olive path) and the village is Gandria.
